My Favorite Business Tools of 2024

2024 was the year I started really expanding my business and making my booth stand out even more. This past year I had some favorite items and some least favorite items that helped and hurt my business. This blog will consist of what I liked and what I didn’t like. Throughout the year, I discovered products that significantly benefited my business and others that didn't quite meet expectations. In this blog post, I'll share my favorite and least favorite finds. FAVORITE NUMBER 1

My first favorite and maybe the most important item I got was actually purchased in 2023. My tent! Unlike typical tents from Walmart or sports stores, this one has heavy-duty metal legs instead of lightweight plastic, making it very sturdy in windy conditions.

The tent also features walls on all four sides, one with a door and window. These walls attach with velcro on the inside and zip up on the outside, preventing water from getting in, which is crucial for protecting crocheted items.

Additionally, the tent includes four bags that can be filled with sand or water bottles for added stability. I purchased mine for $150, but it occasionally goes on sale. I recommend adding it to your cart and waiting for a sale price. It is actually on sale right now for 171 with a 25$ off coupon.

FAVORITE NUMBER 2

The next thing I want to mention is something that had an immediate and significant impact on my booth. I was so impressed, I ended up buying two! This versatile 6-cube storage shelf can be customized to suit your needs and display a variety of items. One of its great features is the option to remove the back panels, creating additional storage space. Alternatively, you can use the back panels to create a backboard at the top of the shelf for displaying items. The metal construction makes it sturdy, waterproof, and wind-resistant. I have used this product for over two years and it's still going strong. It is easy to assemble and can be used to create a grid wall for hanging items, making it very versatile. The product also includes a small hammer, making it easy to disassemble for compact storage, which was essential when I had a smaller car.

Choosing the right merchandise bags for my business has been a surprisingly difficult task. There are so many factors to consider:

• Do I want the bags to match my business's color scheme?

• Would paper bags with my logo be a better fit?

• Should I opt for clear bags so customers can showcase their purchases and potentially attract new business?

It seems like a simple decision, but it's something that most people don't even think about until they're making their first sale and realize they don't have a way to package their products. I've spent countless hours searching for the perfect bag, and I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't exist. I've changed the type of bag I order almost every time, not because they were bad, but simply because I'm always trying to find something that's even better.
